While attending evening class at Chung Hua Cultural center, all the parents are shown this movie about Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deafblind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.[1][2] The story of how Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan, broke through the isolation imposed by a near complete lack of language, allowing the girl to blossom as she learned to communicate, has become widely known through the dramatic depictions of the play and film The Miracle Worker.
Her teacher Anne Sullivan has transformed to a well manner and self disciplined person through education. Helen can master few languages too.
I am so thankful that Teacher Chen Zhen ( 陈真) share such a good movie with us and this movie is definitely a good movie to share with others especially young children as despite so many obstacles, Helen Keller manage to become such a successful person!
Parents use to too over sympathise their kid who has illness and overlook the chances to teach him/her into a good person, this will spoill his/her future.
My friends and me and our kids have been benefited a lots from the classes, which is normally conducted in Mandarin.

She asked us many questions after showing us the movie, ie:
1)why Confucious can be so accurate in his archery?
It is because he is hard working in the training. The more we practise, the more skillful we will be. We can use this to motivate our kids, if they want to excel in their study, they need to study hard too.
Ever since my youngest son dropped my house's tv while he tried to wipe the Tv table, I didn't buy new tv. At times, when they complaint boring, I will play the following moral stories for them. It is a good movie to instill them good moral value .
It is good if parents can watch together with the kids and ask them questions base on the movie.Alternatively, ask the kids to tell us the stories and what have they learnt.
I am so grateful to learn dizigui and master using media to 'brain wash' the kids. Not like before ,use to let them watch any cartoon, without realising the values that they learnt eg bullying, revenge etc.
Kids is like a white paper, parents is the one who decide what color/picture turn out to be.
