Some people will go for fortune telling or feng shui to change their destiny. Actually there is a book called Liao-Fan's Four Lessons (了凡四訓) give us ideas on how to change our own destiny.
We, Malaysian who stay in Klang valley is really lucky as Teacher Chai (蔡礼旭老师) is now giving a series of free talk about Liao-Fan's Four Lessons (了凡四訓) on
every Monday night 8pm-9.30pm
at Chung Hua Cultural Education Centre (M) Bhd.( 马来西亚中华文化教育中心)
At the center there are books and Dvd for free distribution on Liao-Fan's Four Lesso (了凡四訓) , also other topic related to Di Zi Gui.
We, Malaysian are indeed lucky as most of the teachers are experienced and high in morality who have come all the way from China.
Most of the classes are in Mandarin(both adult and children classes concurrently carry out).
Thursday night there is Di zi gui class in English for adult only.
Di zi gui class for children are on Monday and Wednesday. However due to overwhelming responses, currently it is not accepting any new students for children classes. Those who are interested to send children there may call the center in April 2011.
Friday class is music/singing class for both.

Liao-Fan Yuan was born during Ming Dynasty, in about 1550, in Jiangsu Province, Wujiang County. Liao-Fan wrote a book, Liao-Fan's Four Lessons (了凡四訓) , which were written originally to teach his son, Tian-Chi Yuan. The principal behind those lessons is that destiny can be changed through proper cultivation of kindness and humility. Thus one should not be bound by fate but by one's own action.
Liao-Fan was predicted by a wise monk, Mr. Kong that he would only live to the age of fifty-three and had no son. In relating his own life experience in changing destiny, Liao-Fan, at the age of sixty-nine, wrote and taught these four lessons to his son.
Later he met a zen master , he told him by cultivate kindness, he is able to change his destiny. He really carried out and manage to change his destiny. He lived longer, got a son and avoid many misfortunes.
After hearing this wonderful book, one may feel more open and confident towards life, and at the same time, courageously compelled to follow the example of Liao-Fan in changing one's original destiny. Liao-Fan's Four Lessons is truly a rare book which is not only precious to an individual's spiritual needs, but is also capable of transforming unhealthy attitudes in today's society.
